The Basic VCA exam course lasts for 1 day.
- 6 hours of theoretical classes
- 75-minute exam
The course starts at 8.00 a.m. and finish at 2.30 p.m.
At 14.45 the exam is scheduled.
Each trainee must be at least 18 years old and have a valid identity document (identity card or passport).
Note: A driving licence is not a valid identity document.

The Basic VCA is essential for those doing hazardous work or working in dangerous environments. This certificate is commonly required in industries such as:

The Basic VCA certificate is valid for 10 years. After this time, it is necessary to retake the Basic VCA certificate examination.
