Course for new scaffolders.
This course is designed for people who are new to scaffolding or have very little experience in the field. The course programme is split into 2 parts, covering both theoretical and practical knowledge. This ensures that, in the end, each participant will be able to build simple scaffolding themselves, modify it and judge whether it is safe for other people.
During theoretical classes, topics related to the construction of scaffolding both at petrochemical plants and in single-family houses are discussed.

The programme covers :
In 8 days we are able to train your employees in the basics about scaffolding. We will ensure that they become familiar with:
- theory (material nomenclature, physical principles,
- calculation of material quantities),
- practice (how to assemble, dismantle and
- reassemble scaffolding according to Richtlijn Steigers),
- the safe use of personal protective equipment
- obligations, prohibitions and regulations applicable to projects,
- legal conditions in the Netherlands.
Depending on the client’s requirements, we can conduct the course on the following types of scaffolding:
- Layher Allround
- Cuplock
- Traditional (tube and coupling)
The duration of the training for new scaffolders is agreed with the employer.
Each trainee must be at least 18 years old and have a valid identity document (identity card or passport).
Note: A driving licence is not a valid identity document.
Candidates for the course must be fully physically and mentally fit. This means that individuals with missing or impaired limbs cannot participate in the training. Participants must have full physical ability to safely and effectively operate this type of machinery.

For the convenience of our trainees, the Bonapi Training Center has prepared teaching facilities with well equipped lecture rooms, a practical training area and a large hall.
How long does the scaffolder course take?
As an employer, you decide what level you want your employee to reach. The course must be tailored to the trainee’s existing skills. If you have any doubts about your employees’ skills, we can carry out an industry screening test to determine how long the training should last.
- 8-day training for people with no experience at all
- 4-day training for those with minimum experience
Please note that it is up to the client to decide the length of the training, but the minimum number of days is 4, as we want to provide knowledge in a nutshell and this takes time.
