Hybrid Basic VCA course in Dutch
Looking for an effective way to prepare for the Basic VCA exam? Our hybrid course combines the flexibility of online learning with an intensive classroom training just before the exam – now also available in Dutch!
You’ll gain immediate access to the online learning platform, allowing you to study at your own pace. Then, you’ll attend a one-day classroom training session that reinforces your knowledge and prepares you for the final test.
If you pass the online test, the theoretical part is considered completed, and you are directed straight to the practical section.
Note: We reserve the right to reverify the participant’s theoretical knowledge through questions during the practical session or a retest to ensure the online test was completed independently.
The Dutch Basic VCA course (online + classroom) includes:
Full access to the e-learning platform
One-day classroom training in Dutch
Complete set of learning materials
Final classroom exam
VCA certificate in digital format
Hot lunch, drinks, and snacks on the training day
Support from a professional trainer and a friendly atmosphere
The course covers the following topics:
History and purpose of the VCA system
Rules for using personal protective equipment (PPE)
Dutch labour law regulations
Workplace hygiene, safety, and risk analysis
Workplace accidents and unsafe behaviour
Hazards when working with live installations
Dangerous substances – impact on people and the environment
Fire protection and firefighting techniques
Safe operation of machines and equipment
Working with forklifts
Cranes, lifts, and working at height
Hand tools and mechanical tools
Working in confined spaces and work permits
Evacuation procedures
Labour inspection responsibilities and authority
The entire training takes place in one day and includes:
8:00–14:30 – 8 classroom hours of theoretical training
14:45 – classroom exam
Plus: access to the online course, which can be completed before or after the in-person session
To attend the course and take the exam, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Hold a valid ID card or passport
Note: A driving license is not accepted as a valid form of identification during the exam.

Is the course conducted entirely in Dutch?
Yes, this version of the course is entirely in Dutch – both the online materials and the classroom session.

Is the classroom session mandatory?
Yes, it is an essential part of the preparation and must be completed in order to take the exam.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes, after passing the exam you will receive an official VCA certificate in digital format, recognized across the European Union.
Can I use my driving licence as ID for the exam?
No – only an ID card or passport is accepted.
