Course Description – Basic VCA Online (Spanish)
The Basic VCA online course in Spanish is a practical training focused on topics related to occupational health and safety. It covers areas such as risk management, accident prevention, and basic safety principles. The course content is fully aligned with what is offered in traditional in-person training.
Thanks to the online format, you can study whenever it suits you and wherever you are most comfortable. It’s an ideal solution for those who value flexibility and self-paced learning.
VCA Online Training for Spanish Speakers
The Spanish version of the Basic VCA course has been specially designed for individuals who:
work irregular or shift hours,
are currently residing outside the Netherlands,
prefer to learn at their own pace in a comfortable environment.
You don’t need to attend in-person classes to gain the same knowledge and receive the same certificate as traditional course participants.
Upon passing the online test, the theoretical part is considered complete, and the student is directed straight to the practical part.
We reserve the right to reverify the participant’s theoretical knowledge by asking questions during the practical part or administering a follow-up test to ensure the online test was completed based on the participant’s own knowledge.
The Basic VCA online course in Spanish includes:
full access to the training platform,
final (in-person) exam,
digital certificate upon passing the exam.
Throughout the course, participants gain knowledge in the following areas:
History and purpose of VCA
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Labour law regulations in the Netherlands
Risk assessment, workplace hygiene and safety
Hazardous behaviours and causes of accidents
Working with high-voltage installations
Hazardous substances – effects on health and the environment
Fire prevention, extinguishing methods, and emergency procedures
Operating machinery
Forklift use
Working with cranes and lifts
Working at height – scaffolding, ladders, aerial platforms
Use of hand and power tools
Working in confined spaces and permit-to-work systems
Evacuation procedures
Workplace safety inspections and controls
Although the entire course is conducted online, the final exam must be taken in person.

To enrol in the course and sit the exam, you must:
be at least 18 years old,
hold a valid form of ID: an identity card or passport.
Note: A driver’s license is not accepted as a valid ID for the exam.

Is the online course in Spanish different from the classroom version?
No, the course content is exactly the same – only the method of delivery is different.
Can I take the exam outside the Netherlands?
No, the exam is conducted in person at our headquarters in Spijkenisse.
Is the Spanish course available in other languages?
Yes, Bonapi also offers the Basic VCA course in Polish, Dutch, and English.
When will I receive the certificate?
The digital certificate is issued after successfully passing the exam – usually within a few working days.
