Hybrid Basic VCA course in Slovak
Do you want to maximise your chances of passing the VCA exam? Choose the hybrid course conducted in Slovak – combining self-paced online learning with an intensive classroom training session right before the exam.
Immediately after signing up, you’ll receive access to the Slovak-language e-learning platform, allowing you to study at your own pace. The classroom session on the day of the exam is a great opportunity to reinforce your knowledge with the help of an experienced instructor and clear up any last doubts.
If you pass the online test, the theory portion is considered complete, and you’ll proceed directly to the practical part.
Please note: We reserve the right to reverify the participant’s theoretical knowledge through questions during the practical training or by requiring a retake of the theory test to ensure it was completed independently.
Participants will cover topics such as:
History and principles of the VCA system
Types and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Dutch labour law regulations
Hygiene, safety and risk assessment at the workplace
Unsafe behaviours and accident prevention
Risks associated with working under voltage
Effects of hazardous substances on health and the environment
Fire protection procedures and extinguishing techniques
Safe operation of machinery, forklifts, lifts and cranes
Working at height using ladders, scaffolding, and baskets
Safe use of hand and power tools
Working in confined spaces and permit requirements
Evacuation procedures
Role and duties of the labour inspection authority
During the course, participants will cover the following topics:
History and basics of VCA
Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Dutch labour law
Workplace safety and hygiene, risk assessment
Responding to unsafe behaviour and accident prevention
Working with live electricity – hazards and safety measures
Hazardous substances and their impact on health and the environment
Fire safety principles and extinguishing techniques
Operating machinery
Forklift safety
Cranes and lifts
Working at heights – ladders, scaffolding, lift baskets
Safe use of hand and power tools
Work permits and working in confined spaces
Emergency evacuation procedures
Labour inspection protocols
The hybrid course lasts one intensive day:
08:00–14:30 – Theory session
14:45 – Classroom exam
Additionally, each participant receives access to the Slovak-language online course materials.
To participate in the course and exam, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a valid ID card or passport
Note: Driving licences are not accepted as valid ID for the exam.

We provide modern training facilities with three fully equipped lecture rooms.
Is the training conducted in Slovak?
Yes – all materials, the online course, and the classroom session are provided in Slovak.
Can I complete the online course before the classroom training?
Absolutely. You will gain immediate access to the online platform after registration.
Does the classroom training take place on the same day as the exam?
Yes – the classroom session runs until 14:30, and the exam begins at 14:45.
Are meals included in the course price?
Yes, a hot lunch, snacks, and drinks are provided during the training day.
Can I take this course without knowing Dutch?
Yes – the entire course is conducted in Slovak, so no knowledge of Dutch is required.
