If you’re looking for a flexible way to gain knowledge about occupational safety and health, the Basic VCA online course in Lithuanian is an excellent solution. The program covers risk assessment, safe working environments, and accident prevention – everything offered in classroom-based courses, but without commuting and at your own pace.
Remote VCA Training
This course was created for individuals who prefer to learn at their own pace or are unable to attend in-person training. Since the course is fully online, you can study from anywhere – all you need is internet access.
Who is the Basic VCA Online Course for?
We especially recommend this Lithuanian-language course for:
people working in shifts or with flexible schedules,
participants currently living outside the Netherlands,
individuals who prefer to learn independently at a convenient time.
If the online test is passed, the theoretical part is considered complete, and the participant proceeds directly to the practical part.
We reserve the right to verify the participant’s knowledge through questions during the practical part or require a retake of the test to confirm it was completed based on the participant’s own knowledge.

During the course, participants will learn about the following topics:
The origin of the VCA system
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Dutch labour legislation
Workplace hygiene and risk assessment
Unsafe behaviours and workplace accidents
Working with live electricity – potential hazards
Hazardous substances and their impact on health and the environment
Fire safety principles and firefighting methods
Operation of machines and equipment
Safe use of forklifts
Working with cranes and lifts

Although the course is conducted online, the final exam is always held in person.
For participant convenience, exams are typically scheduled to start at 14:45.
To take part in the course and sit for the exam, you must:
be at least 18 years old,
hold a valid ID card or passport.
Note: A driver’s license is not accepted as a valid form of ID for the exam.

Is the Basic VCA online course different from the classroom version?
No. The course content is identical to in-person training. The only difference is the learning format – online offers more flexibility.
What language is the course taught in?
This course is conducted entirely in Lithuanian – both the training and educational materials.
Do I need to be in the Netherlands to take the course?
No, you can participate in the course from anywhere in the world. However, the final exam is held in person in the Netherlands.
Is the certificate valid throughout the EU?
Yes, the VCA certificate is recognised across the European Union, particularly in the industrial, logistics, and construction sectors.
