The hybrid format allows you to prepare in advance through online learning and then demonstrate your practical skills under the supervision of a certified instructor.
During the practical session, you learn correct operation of scissor lifts and boom lifts, safety procedures and how to respond in hazardous situations. After completing the course, you are ready to work as a MEWP operator in an international environment.

Theoretical part: online (self-paced)
Practical training + exam: 1 classroom day
Candidates participating in the course must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid form of identification.
Due to the nature of the training, participants should wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and bring the required personal protective equipment, including:
- safety footwear,
- a safety helmet,
- a hi-vis vest or hi-vis jacket,
- a safety harness with a lanyard and a valid inspection certificate.
Participants who do not have their own safety helmet, hi-vis vest, or safety harness with a lanyard may rent the required equipment from our training centre for the duration of the course, in accordance with the current price list.
Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to participate safely and effectively in the training and to operate this type of machinery. Individuals whose health condition, missing limb, or limited limb mobility prevents them from safely completing the practical exercises cannot participate in the course.

The course ends with a theoretical and practical examination.
Successful completion of both parts is required to receive the IPAF card.
Initial requirements:
Minimum age of 18, valid ID document and full physical and mental fitness. Safety footwear is required for the practical session.

The price includes access to the online theory module, practical training at the centre, the final examination and the issuance of the international IPAF card. During the practical session, you receive full instructor support and access to professional training facilities.
You first complete the theoretical part online at your own pace. After finishing the theory, you attend a one-day practical session in Spijkenisse, where the final exam also takes place.
Yes. The IPAF card is accepted worldwide as proof of qualification to operate mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP).
Working at height requires full physical and mental fitness. Operators must maintain concentration, coordination and responsibility for their own safety and that of others.
