Basic Scaffolder DNV + SVWOH Certificate

• Personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Task risk analysis before starting work on a construction site or in a factory

• Material terminology and different types of scaffolding systems (Layher Allround, Couplock, Peri Up, Scafom)

• Scaffolding assembly methods according to Dutch standards

• Basic physics (stresses and internal forces)

• Material knowledge

• Reading simple technical drawings and making sketches

• Basic load calculations for standards and ledgers

The course including the exam lasts 5 days:

• 2 days of theory (8 hours per day)

• 2 days of practical training (8 hours per day)

• 1 exam day (2 hours theory + 5 hours practical)

Training starts daily at 8:00 AM. A longer lunch break with a hot meal is provided at 12:30 PM. Short breaks are organized approximately every 1.5 hours.

Each participant must:

• be at least 19 years old

• have a valid ID (passport or national ID card)

A valid VCA certificate is no longer required.

To attend the Scaffolder course, you must hold a valid AHM certificate on the day of the MSB recertification exam, or an MSB/EMSB certificate – regardless of its expiration date.

For practical training you need:

• personal protective equipment (helmet, safety glasses, workwear, ankle-high safety boots)

• safety harness with lanyards

• tools secured with lanyards to prevent falling from height

Equipment can be purchased on site at Bonapi.

Participants must be physically and mentally fit to safely perform scaffolding work.

The center features five fully equipped classrooms, a large practical training hall, and an outdoor training yard.

The examination is conducted according to SVWOH guidelines and consists of both theoretical and practical parts. Passing both parts is required to obtain the DNV certificate.
