The front forklift training course lasts 2 days. The program includes a theoretical part, an intensive practical part, and a theoretical and practical exam.

What do you need to bring with you to forklift training?

You must bring your ID card or passport and protective footwear to the training. The training center provides helmets, vests, and notebooks to participants.

How large are the groups for forklift training?

Training groups are divided according to the languages in which the course is conducted and consist of no more than 8 people. This ensures that each candidate has sufficient time to acquire the necessary knowledge and learn how to operate a forklift truck.

Do I need to pass a forklift exam?

Yes, each candidate must pass a theoretical and practical exam to obtain the certificate.

How long are forklift certificates and cards valid for?

Certificates and cards for forklift trucks are valid for 5 years. Before the end of this period, you must attend a refresher course.

When will I receive my forklift certificate?

After passing the exam, you will receive a digital certificate. The certificate will be sent to the email address provided during registration within 24 hours.

Will I receive a plastic card (card-based certificate)?

As standard, the certificate is issued in digital form only. A plastic card in the format of an ID card (such as an ID card) is not issued automatically. It is possible to order a plastic card for an additional fee, in accordance with the current price list. This option can be selected during the course.

Is it possible to obtain licenses for three types of forklifts in one day?

Yes, combined training for three types of forklifts (front forklift, side forklift, and EPT) lasts one day.

Is it possible to take the forklift exam online?

No, the practical part of the training and the exams must take place at our training center in Spijkenisse. The theoretical part of the training can be completed online.

Is forklift training conducted in English?

A forklift certificate without an entry in the register entitles its holder to work with forklifts in many workplaces, e.g., warehouses.

The two-day front forklift course at Bonapi Training Center has been designed for people who have never worked with a forklift before or need more time to master the basics at their own pace.

The training is conducted step by step, without pressure and at an appropriate pace. We place great emphasis on practice, work safety, and understanding the principles of forklift operation in real warehouse conditions.

During the two days, trainees work on modern and safe training equipment under the supervision of experienced instructors with warehouse experience. Comfortable training conditions, small groups, and an individual approach allow you to quickly gain confidence.

The course ends with a theoretical and practical exam. After passing it, the participant receives a digital certificate confirming their qualifications and enabling them to work as a front forklift operator.

Day 1 – theory and practical basics

Theoretical part:

work safety regulations and rules
construction and types of front forklifts
operator responsibilities before starting and after finishing work
safe driving and maneuvering rules
hazards encountered when working in a warehouse

Practical exercises – basics:

first time driving a forklift
learning basic maneuvers
preparing the forklift for work
exercises to increase confidence in operation

Day 2 – practice and exam

Practical part – improving skills:

working with loads
lifting, transporting, and placing pallets
maneuvering in storage space
exercises in smoothness and precision of driving

The course lasts two days and is conducted in the form of classroom training at the Bonapi Training Center.
The program has been spread out over time to ensure comfortable learning, plenty of practice, and calm preparation for the theoretical and practical exams.

To participate in the training, participants must:

be at least 18 years of age,
have a valid ID (ID card or passport),
be physically and mentally fit,
have protective footwear.

The training course ends with a theoretical and practical exam, conducted at our training center in Spijkenisse.
A positive result in both parts of the exam is a prerequisite for obtaining a front forklift operator certificate.

If you fail the exam, you can retake it in accordance with the current price list.

Initial requirements:

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid ID (ID card or passport). Full physical and mental fitness is required, as well as basic protective equipment: safety shoes, helmet, and reflective vest.

Who is this training for?

Beginners who have never worked with a forklift truck and want to learn how to operate a front forklift truck safely from scratch, at a relaxed pace and with plenty of practice.

Training goal

Independent, safe operation of a front forklift truck, passing the exam, and obtaining a certificate authorizing you to work as a forklift operator.
