During the course, you will learn safe working practices with industrial trucks and gain hands-on experience operating them. The training takes place in a professional training centre with full technical and practical facilities. The 1-day version is intensive and recommended for fast learners or those with prior warehouse experience.

• Types, construction and purpose of forklifts

• Truck drive systems (electric, diesel, gas)

• Operator responsibilities before and after work

• Operation of Counterbalance Forklift

• Operation of Reachtruck

• Operation of EPT

• Loading knowledge (types of pallets, palletising methods)

• Driving, lifting and manoeuvring loads

• Storing pallets in warehouse racking systems

• Basic maintenance and technical inspection


The course lasts 1 day and includes:

• Theoretical training

• Practical training

• Final exam

Participants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid identity document.

A driving licence is not accepted as a valid identity document.

Full physical and mental fitness is required.

The training concludes with a theoretical and practical exam. Passing both parts is required to obtain the certificate.

Initial requirements:

Minimum age of 18 and a valid identity document (ID card or passport). Full physical and mental fitness required.

Individuals who want comprehensive qualifications to operate a Counterbalance Forklift, Reachtruck and EPT and work in warehouses and logistics centres in the Netherlands.

Training goal

To gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills for operating three types of industrial trucks and obtain a certificate after successfully passing the exam.
