IPAF – 3A and 3B MEWP Course – 2 Days (Classroom)

• Regulations and safety rules for working at height

• Hazard identification and accident prevention

• Characteristics of 3A and 3B platforms

• Operation of scissor lifts (3A)

• Operation of telescopic and articulated boom lifts (3B)

• Pre-use inspection procedures

• Worksite preparation and safety measures

• Extended practical training – manoeuvring and working at height

• Theoretical exam

• Practical exam

The course lasts 2 days and includes theoretical training, extended practical training and final examinations.

Candidates participating in the course must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid form of identification.

Due to the nature of the training, participants should wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and bring the required personal protective equipment, including:

• safety footwear,
• a safety helmet,
• a hi-vis vest or hi-vis jacket,
• a safety harness with a lanyard and a valid inspection certificate.

Participants who do not have their own safety helmet, hi-vis vest, or safety harness with a lanyard may rent the required equipment from our training centre for the duration of the course, in accordance with the current price list.

Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to participate safely and effectively in the training and to operate this type of machinery. Individuals whose health condition, missing limb, or limited limb mobility prevents them from safely completing the practical exercises cannot participate in the course.
