The IPAF 3B course is intended for participants who want to gain international certification to operate telescopic and articulated boom lifts. The training is conducted entirely on-site in our training center in Spijkenisse, including both theory and practical exercises.
Category 3B covers mobile boom-type platforms that allow movement both vertically and horizontally. Due to their extended reach and maneuverability, they are essential for outdoor projects and tasks performed at height in difficult-to-access areas.

Candidates participating in the course must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid form of identification.
Due to the nature of the training, participants should wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and bring the required personal protective equipment, including:
- safety footwear,
- a safety helmet,
- a hi-vis vest or hi-vis jacket,
- a safety harness with a lanyard and a valid inspection certificate.
Participants who do not have their own safety helmet, hi-vis vest, or safety harness with a lanyard may rent the required equipment from our training centre for the duration of the course, in accordance with the current price list.
Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to participate safely and effectively in the training and to operate this type of machinery. Individuals whose health condition, missing limb, or limited limb mobility prevents them from safely completing the practical exercises cannot participate in the course.

The course concludes with both a theoretical and practical exam. The examination lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes assessment of theoretical knowledge and practical operating skills for telescopic boom lifts.
Initial requirements:
Due to the practical nature of the course, participants must bring safety shoes and appropriate clothing suitable for weather conditions. If you have your own safety harness with a valid inspection certificate, as well as high-visibility clothing, you may bring them.
