A Scaffolding Inspector is responsible for the technical inspection of scaffolding structures and for verifying compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards.
During the course, you will gain the knowledge required to independently assess both system and traditional scaffolding and make decisions regarding approval for safe use. The training is conducted by experienced instructors in a professional training facility.
• Evaluation of safety rules, guidelines, and requirements for assembly, dismantling, and modifications
• Assessment of structural strength, rigidity, and stability based on technical drawings
• Inspection of scaffolding materials according to current criteria and standards
• Safety control and evaluation of scaffolding at all stages of use
• Reporting irregularities and documenting inspection results
The Inspector training course and exam lasts 4 days.
3 days of theory (8 hours each day)
1 day of exam – 2.5 hours
Each day, the training starts at 8:00 a.m.
At 12:30 p.m., we organize a longer break with a hot meal.
During lectures, we take short breaks every 1.5 hours.
Participants must:
• have relevant experience in the scaffolding industry
• hold a valid ID (passport or national ID card)
• be prepared to take responsibility for assessing construction safety

The center features five fully equipped classrooms, a practical training yard, and a large training hall.
The SVWOH Inspector exam is written and consists of:
• 5 open questions
• 35 multiple-choice questions
• 7 practical tasks
Passing the exam is required to obtain the DNV certificate.
The exam can be taken in one of three languages:
• Dutch
• English
• German
Initial requirements:
Relevant experience in the scaffolding industry and a valid ID (passport or national ID card).
