Completed 18 years of age and a valid identity document (ID card or passport).
A valid driving license category B, T or C is mandatory.
A valid VCA certificate or its equivalent approved by the examination center is also required.
The candidate must have documented experience confirmed by a previous SOG certificate, other forklift licenses, or a certificate from an employer confirming experience.
A driving license is not accepted as an identity document.We offer the SOG front forklift course in the following languages:

Theoretical exam:
• 30 minutes
• 18 questions
• Minimum 13 correct answers required
Practical exam includes:
• Pre-use machine inspection
• LMRA
• Stacking IBC containers
• Reversing in slalom with load
• Uphill start on ramp
• Beam manoeuvring between cones
Passing both parts is required to obtain the certificate.
Initial requirements:
Completed 18 years of age, valid identity document (ID card or passport), valid driving license category B, T or C, valid VCA certificate (or equivalent approved by the examination center), and documented experience in operating forklifts.

Experienced front forklift operators working in the petrochemical industry, ports, and industrial plants where SOG certification is required.

No. This course is intended exclusively for experienced operators. You must provide proof of experience through a previous SOG certificate, other forklift qualifications, or a signed employer statement.
The SOG certificate is valid for 5 years. Before expiry, you must complete a refresher course and pass the exam again.
After successfully passing the exam, you will receive the certificate in digital format and be registered in the official SSVV register.
