New Machine at Bonapi Training Center – Manitou MRT 1845 75D ST5 S1 Vision and SOG Courses

We’re starting the new year at Bonapi at full speed. While others were still unpacking their new calendars, changes were already underway here. Andrea has joined our team and will become a key support pillar for Romanian-language administration. At the same time, new processes are being rolled out, and the list of plans for 2026 is long.We are expanding into new training areas, preparing to introduce NEN courses, streamlining our technical structure and - most importantly finalising investments that have been in development for months. One of those investments began last year: the process of purchasing a Manitou. This was not an impulse decision, but a deliberate choice with a clear objective - to take technical training at Bonapi Training Center to a completely new level. Thanks to this new machine, we are entering a phase where technical courses are no longer just training sessions, but real preparation for working with industrial-grade equipment. This is the moment when Bonapi becomes even more clearly a place where operators truly learn how to work - exactly as they will later on construction sites or in industrial environments. And this is where the next chapter begins.

SOG Telescopic Handler Courses Available Immediately

From 9 February 2026, Bonapi Training Center will start training courses using a new machine: a full-size, industrial rotating telescopic handler – the Manitou MRT 1845 75D ST5 S1 Vision. This investment will make both SOG courses and standard telescopic handler (verreiker) training even more accessible, fully aligned with the real needs of the market.

This model was not chosen by accident. The Manitou MRT 1845 75D ST5 S1 Vision is a premium-class machine. With a lifting capacity of 4,500 kg, a maximum lifting height of 18 metres, a working reach of 15.2 metres, and continuous 360° turret rotation, it is equipment that in practice replaces several machines at once.
It functions simultaneously as a telescopic handler, mobile crane, and work platform - exactly the combination of capabilities operators encounter today on modern construction sites and in industrial environments.

At the heart of the machine is a 75 hp Deutz Stage V diesel engine, combined with a hydrostatic transmission and a Load Sensing hydraulic system, ensuring smooth, precise operation and full control over the load.
The machine weighs over 14 tonnes and is equipped with a fully enclosed ROPS/FOPS Level 2 certified cabin, E-RECO attachment recognition system, cameras, LED lighting, remote control, and a complete safety package that is now standard for high-level industrial work. This is not a machine “just for training”. This is a machine used for real work, which makes hands-on training on it an excellent and realistic introduction to professional operation.

Manitou Verreiker and SOG Telescopic Handler Courses – Practice, Not Theory

And this is exactly why this investment has real training value for us. For years, we have said that good training begins where theory ends. From February, course participants at Bonapi will be able to learn how to work on the exact same model they will later encounter on construction sites and in industrial environments.

This changes everything: the way training is delivered, the operator’s level of awareness, and the real, practical preparation for the job.

SOG Verreiker Courses Available 5 Days a Week in the Netherlands

With the introduction of the Manitou MRT 1845 75D ST5 S1 Vision, we have become a training center with exclusive access to this machine. Our approach is built on two key principles: availability and flexibility.

We deliver training five days a week, without weeks of waiting for an available date. Participants can attend the course, complete the training, pass the exam, and leave with a certificate without unnecessary delays or complications.
Exactly the way companies and operators working under tight deadlines expect it to be.

Multilingual Verreiker (Telescopic Handler) Training

Language is just as important. Construction sites in the Netherlands are multilingual, and ignoring this reality is simply irresponsible. That is why we provide verreiker and SOG training in multiple languages, including Polish, English, and Dutch, so that safety does not stop at a language barrier.

An operator must understand the machine, the procedures, and the risks, not just “pass the exam”.

Where and for whom is there work with a telescopic handler in the Netherlands?

The telescopic handler is today one of the machines that has fundamentally changed the way work is done on Dutch construction sites. It is no longer an add-on or a machine used only occasionally. In many sectors, it is simply a daily working tool.

Operators with the appropriate certifications are needed not only for traditional construction work, but wherever precision, reach, and safety are critical.

In practice, the telescopic handler is used in the construction of halls and industrial buildings, steel structure assembly, ports and industrial zones, large-scale logistics, scaffolding operations, as well as in heavy industry and petrochemicals.
In many projects, a single telescopic handler replaces several other machines: a forklift, crane, and aerial work platform, which is exactly why it is so widely used.

Who Needs a Telescopic Handler Certificate and Where Is It Used?

These courses are not intended only for professional operators. Increasingly, they are taken by construction workers, scaffolders, agency workers, as well as companies sending teams to projects in the Netherlands.

In high-risk environments - especially in industry and petrochemicals - a SOG Verreiker certificate is not an extra line on a CV, but a mandatory requirement to be allowed on site. Experience without formal certification is very often simply not enough.

Are Certificates for Specialist Machines Important in the Netherlands?

From a market perspective, the answer is simple: yes.
Dutch employers increasingly expect formal, recognised certificates, especially when working with expensive and specialist equipment.A telescopic handler certificate significantly expands professional opportunities: it provides access to more projects, reduces the time needed to find work, and allows operators to take part in assignments where rates and responsibility are clearly higher.

That is why verreiker and SOG training courses are no longer a “nice extra”, but a practical working tool, exactly what the market expects.

5% Discount on Courses for New Companies – Start Your Cooperation with Bonapi

For companies that are just beginning their cooperation with us, we offer an additional incentive. New companies receive a 5% discount, with no hidden conditions or fine print. We treat this as an investment in a long-term partnership, not a one-time promotion.

The purchase of the Manitou is not the end of the story, but the beginning of a new chapter. It is a clear signal that Bonapi does not take shortcuts. We invest in equipment that raises the quality of training, improves safety, and reflects the real demands of the market not catalogue descriptions.

A new year, a new machine, and very concrete plans for the months ahead.

This is only the beginning.
